2026 Festivities

There’s always something for everyone at Belleville’s Canada Day celebration.

The day featured a variety of activities and attractions for all ages, including:

  • Great Canadian Lumber Jack Show
  • Ben the Juggler Show
  • Stilt Walkers
  • Face Painting
  • Balloon Art
  • Inflatable Village
  • Top Shot – Electronic Hockey Net
  • Be Prepared Build-a-Fort Station
  • Zone Athletics Parkour/Tumbling Course
  • “Belly” and the Belleville Senators
  • Belleville Police Car Display & Photo Op
  • Belleville Fire Truck Display & Photo Op
  • Live Drawing with Chase Cha Art

The celebration concluded with a spectacular fireworks display from Black Canvas Fireworks.

The event featured a full lineup of live music and entertainment from:

The vendor market featured a variety of local makers and small businesses offering handcrafted goods, gifts, home décor, baked treats and more.

Getting There

Free Shuttle Service

To make getting to the park easier, free shuttle buses run throughout the day each Canada Day between:

  • Quinte Mall
  • Downtown Belleville transit terminal
  • West Zwick’s Park

Parking

Parking is available for a $5 donation, payable by cash or card. A portion of parking proceeds will support local community organizations. Spaces may fill quickly, so using the shuttle is encouraged.

Accessibility

The City of Belleville is committed to making Canada Day welcoming and accessible for everyone.

Available supports include:

  • Accessible parking
  • Additional accessible washrooms
  • American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation during opening ceremonies

Plan your Visit

To make the most of your day:

  • Arrive early to explore activities and entertainment.
  • Bring sunscreen, water and comfortable seating such as lawn chairs or blankets.
  • Stay for the fireworks to close out the celebration.
