Hours: 42.5 hours, comprised of 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day, Sunday to Saturday, rotating shift
Salary: $24.61 per hour


PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

This position works with limited supervision, performs a variety of semi-skilled work in the maintenance of City’s recreation facilities; and performs related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/SPECIALIZED TRAINING/SKILLS:

Essential (minimum) qualifications:

  • Grade twelve (12) diploma
  • Current Forklift operators certificate
  • Fall Arrest Training
  • Lock out/Tag out
  • Confined Space
  • Elevated platform/personal lift training
  • Current WHMIS
  • Valid First Aid/CPR
  • Valid Driver’s License class ‘G’

Asset (preferred) qualifications:

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
  • Electrical Techniques Certificate or Equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Essential (minimum) qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of work experience in a multi-function sports complex

Asset (preferred) qualifications:

  • Basic or Advanced refrigeration
