DOWNTOWN HELPER, TEMPORARY

Hours: 40 hours per week; Period of employment May 1, 2018 to August 30, 2018
Salary: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour


Perform general cleaning and grounds maintenance in the downtown area including grass trimming, sidewalk sweeping and other duties to keep the downtown area spotless and dirt, litter, grass and weed free.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent required
  • Must hold a valid class G Driver’s Licence for the Province of Ontario with a clean driving record
  • Able to operate small power equipment used in maintenance/cleaning work
  • Must be physically fit and able to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Good customer relation skills
  • Must have safety footwear
