Salary: $30.08 - $34.76 per hour


Reporting to the Manager of Information Systems, the position assists with the maintenance, management, and updates to all Web / IT systems support or application software and the training of staff in a help desk support capacity.    

EDUCATION/SPECIALIZED TRAINING/SKILLS:

Essential (minimum) Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year Diploma in an Information Technologies related field from community college.

Asset (preferred) Qualifications:

  • ITIL, COBit, PMP or similar certification Certificates or experience in a virtualized computer environments (servers and desktops)
  • Certificates or experience in Windows and Android based operating systems
  • Certificates or experience in Networking / Load Balancing (Avaya, Cisco, Fortinet)
  • Certificates or experience in Wireless Networks and Network Security
  • Certificates or experience in Networked Copiers and accounting systems
  • Certificates or experience in IP telephony (QoS, vlan tagging)

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Essential (minimum) Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years progressive experience in Municipal information systems.

Asset (preferred) Qualifications:

  • Experience with HTML and IIS
  • Experience with basic GIS tasks (map printing)
