Community Resources for Relief from Cold


Sub-zero temperatures continue in the area and the City wishes to remind residents there are support resources available within the community. The City encourages everyone to share this information and if concerned for someone’s wellbeing, contact Emergency Services at 613-962-2010.

Warming Centres:

The Belleville Public Library on Pinnacle Street in the downtown core is open:

Monday - Thursday: 9:30 am to 8:00 pm

Friday: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

Saturday: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

Sunday: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

The Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre on Cannifton Road is open:

Monday – Sunday 6:00 am until 11:30 pm

Doors open every night of the week for anyone to come for a free hot meal and fellowship. TV, movies and games are also available.
