Hours: 35 hours per week; Period of Employment May 6 to August (end date TBD)
Salary: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
The Student Survey Assistant assists Party Chiefs with field survey work in relation to pre-engineering, construction layout and any other municipal surveys as required; uses GPS for surveys; office work as required, including scanning of documents, filing and other work as assigned.
- Total Station Surveying and computer skills an asset.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary program at a college or university level in the field of civil engineering, civil engineering technology or surveying and returning in the fall.
