BELLEVILLE – The City of Belleville is hosting an Emergency Management Open House May 9th at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
The Open House will bring emergency professionals and community agencies together to educate and review the supports available to our community in the event of an emergency.
“We can’t predict when a disaster or emergency will strike, but we can be prepared for one,” states Fire Chief Mark MacDonald, Community Emergency Management Coordinator. “Having lived through disasters in the past, I’m passionate about ensuring residents are prepared when disaster strikes. I encourage the public to take time to plan and prepare for an emergency in advance and have your 72 hour kit ready.”
