Belleville Transit Increasing Scheduled Service on June 15

Transit Service Schedule Effective June 15

This Monday (June 15) the second phase of the Belleville Transit service recovery plan will begin. The most recent openings permitted by the Provincial Government will require more access to public transit for the residents of the City of Belleville.

Phase 2 will accommodate access to the increased availability of shopping.  The service will continue to be a modified, reduced schedule but will now operate a reduced scheduled service for weekends as well as weekdays.

“We are working hard to balance the transportation needs of our community with our commitment to keeping residents and our drivers safe during the COVID-19 virus,” said Paul Buck, Manager, Transit Services. “We appreciate your understanding regarding the necessary protocols at this time and please know that we are doing our very best to get you safely where you need to go.”

Rider apps are here!!  They have a cleaner look and a snappier feel, but the functionality is virtually the same. A rider who used the portal can switch to the app without issue.

They are on the Play Store and App Store, the app is called “On Demand Transit”.  After downloading, you will have to choose your transit organization as the first step - just enter "bt" to connect to the Belleville Transit service.

Use the same email and password you have been using on the portal and you are on your way!

Transit App

Track your bus in real-time using the new Transit app. Upon launching the app, riders see nearby options and departure times in big text and bright colours. Users can easily navigate the region, aided by accurate real-time bus ETAs, trip planning, step-by-step navigation, and crowdsourced real-time information with Transit’s GO feature. Download the app in Google Play or the App Store to start planning your trip!
