With more Canadians than ever using wireless devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs demanding more services and faster data, more telecommunication towers are needed to meet demand.
Telecommunication towers are approved by the Federal Government of Canada and not the municipality. However, proponents of new towers must go through the City's Telecommunication Tower Protocol (provided below).
