The City is planning improvements to Jackson Woods Park as part of the Parkland and Recreation Master Plan (PRMP). Improvements include installing new playground equipment, seating and landscaping.
The selected exercise and play equipment is interactive and allows parents and caregivers to interact with
children as they play.

About the project |
The location of this site is in the north/centre urban area of the City of Belleville at 110 Finch Drive, south of Tracy Street, west of North Front Street. The scope of this project involves the installation of new play equipment, picnic tables, and integration into the existing asphalt trail. |
Community Engagement |
The ABC Recreation Design Proposal received the highest votes overall and was awarded the contract for this project.
A virtual open house was held on February 2, 2022. During this online meeting, the top two designs were presented. Participants then had the opportunity to vote for their preferred option through a poll. The meeting was livestreamed and recorded on the City’s YouTube channel.
