Latest News: Snow Angels Canada

Snow Angels is a neighbourhood program that allows people who need help shoveling snow from their driveways and walkways to connect with volunteers in their area. After registering on the website, those seeking support with snow removal can view all nearby registered volunteers and message them to request support. Likewise, as a registered volunteer you can view the approximate locations of people seeking support and reach out to them to offer help. 

The Snow Angels program is not a City of Belleville program. It relies completely on our community and the registration of volunteers.

Please note, a valid email address is required. If you do not have an email address, ask a family member or friend for help. If you registered last year, you do not need to again this year, simply go to the "Sign In" option found in the top right corner of their webpage and use the same email address and password.

• Disabilities and Taxes: Are you receiving all you are entitled to? Presented by disability tax credit specialist, Tom Muir from Disability Dreams Group, learn what you need to know about filing taxes, common misconceptions that may prevent individuals from filing and identify the many benefits that come with filing, including reimbursements and rebate programs.

• AccessAbility Week Event: A fireside chat with Assistant Deputy Minister for Seniors and Accessibility, Meenu Sikand. The Accessibility Committee also spoke about the achievements and progress they have made over the past year and highlighted how we can continue to make our city more accessible for all in the future.
