The Accessibility Excellence Awards recognize individuals, groups, organizations and businesses that have made or are making a significant contribution beyond legislated requirements in improving access for persons with disabilities in Belleville.
Nominations Open for the 2025 Accessibility Excellence Awards
These awards recognize and highlight local businesses and individuals who go out of their way to provide and advocate for accessibility provisions. Nominations will be reviewed by our Accessibility Advisory Committee under these categories: built environment, customer service, education, employment, information & communication and transportation. Recipients will be announced at a special ceremony on May 27 from 11 a.m. to noon in the Multipurpose Room at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
There are three award categories:

- Not-for-profit
- For-profit/business
Nominations focusing on more than one of the disabilities recognized by The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (S.O. 2005, c. 11) are encouraged |
