The City of Belleville’s Accessibility Advisory Committee and Belleville Public Library have partnered to present a special tax information session for those with disabilities and caregivers.
The “Getting the Most Out of Your Personal Income and Benefit Return From a Disability Perspective” information session will feature Jeremy Bertrand from the Ontario Ministry of Finance as he explains how physical and/or mental impairments can impact what is claimed on your tax return. Topics to be discussed include medical expenses, the caregiver amount, the disability tax credit and the Ontario seniors care at home tax credit.
