There are now more ways to ride with Belleville Transit. The new BTAP smartcard is a plastic card with a computer chip inside which allows riders to load their fare and go. Once activated, the card can be reloaded with tickets or monthly (period) passes online or at select service points.
Regular fare BTAP smartcards can be obtained for $5 at Belleville City Hall (169 Front St.) Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre (265 Cannifton Rd.) Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the exception of holidays.
For senior or reduced fare cards, riders will need to present credentials showing their eligibility at City Hall (169 Front St.) Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cards can be reloaded at either City Hall or the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre during the operating hours noted above, or online at bvta-prod.gfcp.io/efare.
